"Flint Jack" aka Edward Simpson (1815-1867) began forging flint implements, then graduated to making urns and various "Roman" antiqutities. He was so prolific that he flooded the London market and turned to exhibiting his skills in making them. The author was an Honorary Curator of the Reading Museum.5 locations in COPAC (Cambridge, Leeds, Oxford, Scotland and Society of Antiquaries London. 4 of the same in OCLC; ie no US holdings.
